This is a small collection of pics from my last visit to Epcot in Disney World, I got to admit , I have a little thing for night time photography. I don’t know if it is all the colors and the mood they bring to pictures, but I do enjoy looking for interesting compositions shortly after dusk . I wish I had brought a tripod or monopod of some sort for these shots , since I was struggling a little bit to get the images sharp enough in camera, but that is where my 5DMkII performed really well, and saved most of this shots . I couldn’t always find a place to lean on, so I jumped the ISO sensitivity from 1600 to 3200 ,to get more manageable shutter speeds , avoiding camera movement without excessive noise. I cannot complain I have been very happy with the 5DMkII, since I got it 2 years ago , when i sold my old Minolta maxxum 7 film camera and Mamiya 645E and few lenses… I bought this baby and couple it together with some prime lenses. I clearly felt more comfortable being part of the Canon family going Full Frame, with this model , based on the quality being the closest ,in my budget, to what I had experience with Medium format , and OMG Medium digital camera prices are still so unreachable for mortals!!…
Leaving all the gear talk aside , visiting Epcot was an unforgettable experience, hard to see everything in one day! I highly recommend to see it, take you kids , family , or just take a trip yourself to this place, all the rides and pavilions were awesome . I don’t have enough words for the fireworks show at closing time!! Beautiful show !! … Just don’t forget to bring a Tripod!!…lol
